Sophia Urban

Sophia Urban is a director, theatre maker, and devising artist. Midwest-grown and Chicago based, their work explores the environment, dreams, queerness, place, and where they all intersect. They could not be more excited to be involved with Quantum Illuminations as the Staging & Artistic Guide, combining their love of devising and theatre making with the rich knowledge of scientists and musicians. They are a graduate of the BFA Theatre Studies program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where they concentrated in directing and were mentored by Latrelle Bright.
