Amy Hassinger

Amy Hassinger is a novelist, essayist, and an Assistant Professor of creative writing in the English Department at the University of Illinois. She’s also a singer who delights in jazz and improvisational music. Her memoir, Apocalypse in Blue: On Betrayal, Failure, Forgiveness, and Jazz, will be available in 2027.
